This is a very green place that you can visit to spend a few tranquil days connecting with nature or going crazy while doing some shopping. This is the perfect spot to ride a bike around the streets or walk to the places you want to visit. 

This area was inhabited for a very long time (we are talking about thousands of years) by Native Americans that lived in the Santa Monica Mountains and Simi Hills. The missions from Spain established here and started to control the Valley's lands.

You can go on a shopping spree at the Westfield Topanga Mall where you will probably see a celebrity or two and you will completely renew your closet with the best looks of the season! There are nearly 300 shops in here, all for you. This place is definitely the shopaholic's dream come true. 

If you are into sightseeing and you want to avoid using your credit card a little too much, you can walk all the way up for an exciting and free activity. High above the San Fernando Valley, the Top of Topanga Overlook provides breathtaking views of the Santa Monica Mountains, San Gabriel Mountains, and the San Fernando Valley below. This is a great spot to sit down and enjoy a picnic style meal and be delighted by the flowers and plants that you can find in the area. If you want an extra spectacular memory, you might want to consider visiting this place at night. The city lights and the stars will do their job and take your breath away. 

If you like sporty activities and like to move around and feel the sweat and calories burning, we recommend you to visit the Upper Las Virgenes Open Space Preserve, the ultimate place for hiking locally. If sports is not your thing, you can also visit this marvelous green spot to enjoy a day with nature and plan a picnic beneath the shadows of the oaks.
