This time I am showing you the interiors of some the public facilities at the Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center. Here’s a link for those who want to see the outdoor facilities:
Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center- 1 Outdoor Facility

If you enter the section where patients are staying overnight, there is small gift shop by the entrance.

It was interesting that plastic covers for umbrellas were available at the entrance, even if it was not a rainy day.

There is location board for the building opposite the gift shop.

I was totally surprised seeing a public phone here since public phones are hard to find these days. There is also a postal stamp vending machine and post office box.

You can also find hand sanitizer.

I wanted to see where the cats are working hard scanning. ;)

But I was not allowed to enter these technical areas.

It was always surprising how deep the hospital elevators are.

Since they carry patients on beds, the hospital elevators are much deeper than regular elevators.

This is a facility located in a different building, where the cafeteria is. This space acts like a library.

This is the cafeteria located underground. There are certain hours that the cafeteria is open, so if you are staying longer you need to check the hours. If you come to the hospital as guardian for a patient, a nurse will provide papers with all sorts of information, including the cafeteria's hours.

There is a salad bar, soups and warm dishes that you can order, and prepackaged sandwiches and other snacks. You can take foods to where a patient is staying as well.

This is a pharmacy located in another building. There is an electronic sign showing the patient's name when their drugs are ready. There was another pharmacy that looked bigger and in a closer building, but it was still under construction. Once that pharmacy is completed I am guessing it will be nicer and more convenient for patients.
