We recommend:
Old Town: Old Town Pasadena is the commercial center and the heart of Pasadena. Due to redevelopment, is has now become a popular shopping and entertainment district. All the old buildings were reconstructed to build high-end boutiques, coffee shops, popular restaurants, movie theaters, nightclubs, and comedy clubs so visitors can easily shop and enjoy the local entertainment.
California Institute of Technology (CalTech): this is one of the leading universities in the world with fewer than 1,000 undergraduate students enrolled. This means that an average of only 250 students is accepted each year. Caltech's founding fathers- astronomer George Ellery Hale, physicist Robert Andrews Millikan, and chemist Arthur Amos Noyes- were nicknamed "Tinker, Thinker, and Stinker."
San Gabriel Square: The nearby city of San Gabriel boasts a mixture of Asian, as well as European and North American cultures.
Norton Simon Museum of Art: The Norton Simon Museum carries artwork from nearly all the renowned European artists from the Middle Ages onwards. Works from artists such as Rembrandt, Degas, Picasso, Courbet, Botticelli, Cezanne, and Gauguin cover the walls.
