This city of Lancaster evolved from being a railroad water stop in the 19th century to a city with a lot to offer that has many residents and visitors every single year.

Back on 2010, the city developed the BLVD Project that included a large boulevard that went all the way from 10th Street to Sierra Highway. This, of course, attracted many tourists and they started to program festivals on the boulevard that helped to increase the popularity of the city.

The oldest construction (a pretty awesome time jewel) is the Western Hotel, which was opened in 1886. It was later converted into a museum that you can visit while you are at this nice site.

If you are a movie buff, we have a super cool spot you can visit- the Sanctuary Adventist Church, otherwise known as the "The Kill Bill Church.” In addition to being featured in the Quentin Tarantino movies “Kill Bill: Volume 1” and “Kill Bill: Volume 2,” the Sanctuary Adventist Church has also appeared in other movies, including “Crossroads” starring Britney Spears, “True Confessions” starring Robert De Niro, and “Inferno” starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

For a little stroll down American history, you can go to the Antelope Valley Indian Museum. This place is a unique and eclectic folk art structure with a lot of stories on the inside. The museum houses object created by the American Indian cultures of the western Great Basin, California, and the Southwest.

For a little bit of fresh air and a greener vibe, you can enjoy a picnic at the Apollo Community Regional Park. This park is named in honor of the Apollo 11 astronauts. Once you are here you can enjoy their facilities: three man-made lakes, a 54-acre park, picnic shelters, and walking paths. This place hosts three fishing derbies every year.

The most popular attraction here is the Civic Musical Road. The Musical Road opened in the summer of 2008 and was an instant hit with locals. You drive at a slower speed and you can hear a song that plays while your wheels roll on the pavement. Pretty impressive! It soon gained popularity all over the U.S. and around the world. Complaints from neighbors closed the road, and after several years they relocated it to Avenue G, west of the 14 Freeway, far away from the residential area.
