Sequim Lavender Festival: Lavender Capital of North America (Seattle, WA)
Primary tabs
I’ve been to the Tulip Festival held in the spring, but this was the first time for me to go to the Lavender Festival held in summer (only for 3 days in July).
The place where the Lavender Festival was held is completely opposite from where the Tulip Festival was held. It was in the Sequim direction towards Olympic National Park.
I went there thinking about beautiful lavender using for perfume. But once I got there, I was totally disappointed by a much smaller scale than I expected and high admission fee. It was $12 per person.
However, I was very surprised by all the people at the festival. Even though the Lavender Festival was not something that I expected, once I saw the flowers and was listening to the live band music it made me feel happy. If you like lavender, you may enjoy this festival.
