The last time I visited Miami it was for a quick trip stop (I was on my way to N.Y.) I had a friend who was living there and he was kind enough to give me an express tour of the city. Of course, the Lincoln Road was a must on this sort tour.

This place has it all, besides it's super colorful and happy. I am from Venezuela, so palm trees make me fell like home and this walk is full of it. The Road is the perfect combination between fresh nature, shopping and delicious gastronomy. If you love outdoors restaurants with crowded tables and huge umbrellas to rest from the Miami sun, you are going to fall in love with the Lincoln Road.

I went to a sushi restaurant (Doraku Sushi) where I ate the most insane "edamames" that I've ever tasted. If you are a sushi fan (like me) then you know that edamames are so delicious and simple, but at this place they serve them with a bit of anguila sauce and spice. Just heavenly. They have some nice wooden booths (Asian style) that will give you the whole sushi experience.

If you are into shopping and you are not looking to spend your whole budget, you can check out a huge Forever 21 store where you will find great trends and won't end up with a sore pocket.

The next time you visit Miami pack up your sneakers because you will need to walk.

I love Lincoln Road too! I went there like a million times and could not get enough of it... What I like the most is that, like the rest of the area, it is full of young people and has a cool vibe. Plus, you can go there by day or by night and you can be sure there will be tons of things to do.
