It was exciting to see the sign to Niagara Falls.

I found out later the smoke is actually the mist from the water falling in Niagara Falls

We parked at the park’s parking lot to see American Falls” first on the American side of Niagara Falls.

(You can use the free parking here.)

You get to seeAmerican Falls after a little bit of walking inside the park from the parking lot.

The excitement of seeing the biggest falls in Northern America, Niagara Falls, next to me and listening to its thundering-like sound was still vivid to my memory.

Wow~~~~!!!!

It was the moment that exclamation came naturally.

I recommend stopping by and looking around the history of the fallsin the Visitor Center.

According to Wikipedia, Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States; more specifically, between state of New York state and the Canadian province of Ontario.

From largest to smallest, the three waterfalls are Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Horseshoe Falls lie mostly on the Canadian side and American Falls is entirely on the American side, separated by Goat Island. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls are also located on the American side, separated from the other waterfalls by Luna Island. The international boundary line was originally drawn through Horseshoe Falls in 1819, but the boundary has long been in dispute due to natural erosion and construction.

Located on the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined falls form the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world, with a vertical drop of more than 165 feet (50 m). Horseshoe Falls is the most powerful waterfall in North America, as measured by vertical height and also by flow rate.

Most tourists stay on the Canada side because the entire falls can be viewed from the Canada side

After experiencing the American side of Niagara Falls, we headed over the “Rainbow Bridge” to Canada, the border bridge between Canada and America.

Sadly, we had to skip seeing American falls and Goat Island since we had to make to hotel check-in and the time for our dinner reservation.

The sign for duty free shopping can be seen before the borderbridge.

Both U.S. and Canadian dollars can be used for the bridge toll.

Looking at Niagara Falls by walking across the border bridge would also be interesting

Arrived at the end of the bridge, there is line for permission to enter Canada.

It’s only this many cars because it’s the weekday~

Finally~~~~

Its our turn!!!

Have to present passports and IDs for all the people in the car.

Then, roll down car window and they check the faces of all the members.

For us, not many questions and even skipped checking luggage.

Opposite of the quiet American side, the atmosphere of Canada side is very lively!

Full of people and various stores next to each other where tourists can enjoylove this lively atmosphere!
