Last Friday, Anchorage got about 3 inches for the first snow of the year, and Hatcher Pass got 12 inches of snow. It was a pretty decent amount of snow for the first snow fall.

I cleaned snow in front of my house and even made a snowman. I used grapes, cabbage, and an apple to make this pilot themed snowman.

I went out to capture the season’s first snow scenery in Anchorage. Snow plows were busy and the trees were covered with snow. 





The snowy lake was beautiful and spruce trees along the street became Christmas trees with the snow. Anyway, now winter has come to Alaska.
