While I was driving on Seward Highway, I encountered people who were enjoying ice climbing on a frozen water fall, even though the temperature was below freezing.

It was a stormy day with much snow, but there were many cars on the highway.

There are many falls around Seward highway from the melting glacier, and they were all frozen during the time, creating the perfect environment to enjoy ice climbing.

The crevasses in the ice made me feel nervous.

Even though it was minus 19 degrees Celsius (-2.2 Fahrenheit) on that day, these two were enjoying the winter sport of ice climbing with full of smiles on their faces.

They were geared up with various equipment and they even played upbeat music loud so it created an even better fun atmosphere.

The thickness of the frozen ice was amazing.

There was an open space behind the frozen falls. So I entered into it.

It was a very cozy space for a person to use when nature calls.
So I decided to take that invitation. ;)

The snowstorm was getting stronger on that day, so I hurried to go to my destination.
