Coffee is a type of drink made from the beans of a coffee tree and has a unique taste and scent. The word coffee originates from the Arab word caffa, meaning strength. In Ethiopia caffa is the wilderness where coffee trees grow. Europeans first called coffee "the Arabian wine" and started to call it coffee by 1650.
